I recently got a free solana 34g tank. The previous owner said that it wasn't a major leak,he just started noticing salt residue on the side towards the bottom. I'm wondering if I can just reseal that one side or do I have to reseal the whole tank? If I can reseal the one side, on the bottom where all the sides meet will the sealant bond enough to the already existing sealant?

I resealed my tank, but I did the whole thing (I did all the inside silcone, but left the silcone between the panes intact). You need to make sure you use a silcone adhesive not just a normal silcone. With only a 34g tank I would just do all the inside silcone. Make sure you clean it good with alcohol before applying the new silcone.

Right on thanks for the tips. The solana that I have as the filter system built in it. Would it be ok if I left that in there and just sealed up to it from the outside of the filtration?
