It's been a dream of mine for around 30 years, but I am finally going to do a saltwater reef tank. I am thinking of getting a Waterbox aquarium in the 5 to 6 foot range. As I plan and research a couple of questions come to mind.

1] Waterbox gives both a display volume and total volume for the tank. When considering the fish load potential, which value do you use?

2] I am looking at getting a Foxface (one-spot probably) for my second round of fish (after a pair of clownfish) for algae control. Would you recommend one or two Foxfaces? If two, can I mix the Foxface species? It seems like if you are going to get two, you should add them together.

3] I am currently planning on starting my corals with Zoa's. Can I add a LPS frag or two and count on water changes to keep the calcium level stable enough? The LFS I am working with wants to do weekly 25% water changes.

Thanks for your help! I am sure I will have more questions as I go along.

1. Display volume
2. one foxface
3. yes weekly should work till you get alot of coral then you may need to dose

10 percent weekly with fish and softys sps lps keep an eye on alk, cal, and up your water change or start kalkwasser drip.

my tomini does a better job picking algae than my foxface.
foxface is a cool fish but in my experience not really an algae controller.
mine has also started nipping at my gorgonia.
