I started out a week ago with two wrasses in QT and because one had flukes I started with GC. After the first treatment I was going to wait 5 days to do the 2nd treatment. Well one of the original two wrasses obtained a spinal injury and was eeuthanized. I went out and bought another since I was only a week into QT and am now finishing the 2nd GC treatment. The first wrasse has now had two treatments and the new wrasse has had one and he has a few issues that is going to have to make me wait on copper. My question is can I do another treatment of GC to give the new wrasse two treatments? Does GC build a toxicity in fish? This could be the third treatment for the original wrasse.
The new wrasse has had a MB bath (15 min, cut short due to stress) and both are still getting GC medicated food. I just figured tomorrow I would do a 25% WC and do another treatment of GC if the original wrasse can handle a third. I know this is confusing but thanks for the help.
After some reading I have found wrasses can lose scales from ammonia burn and I wonder if that’s. What happened to this guy during shipping. After the next GC I’ll start Furan 2 and then hopefully copper power 14 days later.
