I'm pretty sure so know the answer, but the off chance I'm wrong would be great! In an invert qt tank set up to hold corals and such for 76 days an anemone was added for maybe 12 hours. It was then moved to another location to be held for 48 hours and then to the display tank. Did the anemone reset the 76 days in the qt tank?

Yes it could.
Any thing you add you can reset even if you place your hand or a net from one tank to the QT.
Does this QT only hold corals or do you have fish in there too?

That's what I thought.
It has two corals. My fish qt is in another room.

If it is just corals how many days you were in the qt?

I plan on a 76 day qt for corals and inverts. The anemone doesn't have any hard surfaces, so it was placed in a separate fishless place for 48 hours before being added to the display. I know the odds are low that the anemone released anything into the water to reset it, but it's possible. However, it has been fishless this entire time.

Just monitor the Coral QT for the time being, finish the first set QT clock and take a close look a few days before.
Remember that 10 to 15 years ago not much ppl in this hobby ever heard about a QT system in this hobby.
I for one did only QT my fish but on the most 3 weeks, and that was just to observe them.
If they showed any signs of illness I would start treatment and longer QT.
Corals for that matter went to a quick dip and in the tank, now they go through the same QT and they have more time to adjust to my water paras and encrust not to mention color up as my QT system for corals is as close as the same as my DT.
