@Jay Hemdal You've mentioned in other threads that the prasi-resistant fluke scenarios are really bacterial filtration that has built up and consumes the medication. The quarantine tank I used was about 80 gallons and in a week I'm going to be able to switch out fish finally (fallow complete). The size of the tank I figured gives me some opportunities to get larger fish or some that need more swimming room through QT. Because it's a sizeable amount of water I would love to keep it and reuse it if possible but I'm unsure to if that is acceptable.

Can I reuse this water for the next batch of fish that need to be quarantined?
If I can reuse the water how do I reset the bacterial filtration so that the prasi medication works properly again?

Thanks so much for your help!

The presumption is that the prazi consuming bacteria lives on the surface of rock etc n the tank, just like the nitrifying bacteria does. If Ive given a quarantine tank multiple prazi treatments, I sterilize it and start over. That is costly and time consuming of course. If you just dosed prazi 2 or 3 times, I wouldn’t worry about it to much.
