Residue on plug prong

I noticed that on one of my powerheads, there is somthomgs funny on the prongs....looks whitish in color and doesn't come off. Anyone have any idea what it is?

More than likely it’s some type of patina. Oxidation from the prongs being exposed to Water.

Shouldn’t but if too much builds up you’ll need to scrape it off so it makes good contact to flow electricity. Use a wire brush that will do the trick.
