Resistance Is Futile - 90g "Borg" Cube

Update 7/10/2018 - Lighting!

In this video, I cover my reasoning behind choosing the aquatic life t5/led hybrid fixture, which bulbs and leds I chose, and more.

Nice build so far, I would’ve liked to go with a 90 but it just wasn’t gonna work in space. I love seeing a big stack of boxes with new gear. When I did my build I had a big stack of stuff in our office the look on my wife’s face was priceless when she got home and seen it. I had to buy all the gear and the hair and massage appointments to go with it. Lol

Right!? I'm taking my GF to get sushi in compensation for the box stack!

Update 7/15/2018

Obviously the tank is in. Here's a quick overview of the tank, a leak test, and the plans moving forward:

Tonight I'm going to work on aquascaping ideas. The dimensions of this tank are interesting, and it gives me a lot of height to play with. My initial thought is to place a slopped mountain in a back corner with a tower in the front (opposite side).

I love working vertically, so if anyone has suggestions on a cube scape I would love the inspiration.

Here's my tentative scape. I have a bunch of flat plateau-like pieces I may attach perpendicular with the tower, but I can't hold them there within cementing them in.

It is pretty cool. The crescent is like Molokini off of Maui, HI. I almost feel like I would prefer the tall left piece upside down from that. More like dead coral that grew out. Kind of like you said with the flat piece, but not too horizontal on top. I like it.

@NY_Caveman - When you say you want the left tall piece (the tower) upside down, what do you mean? Suggestions are appreciated!

I am at work, so had to use crude Paint and not Photoshop. You will get the idea.
