My wife’s office tank that I set up about a month and a half ago has dinos really bad and has had it and two clown fish just recently died from brook. So I’m just going to start up another tank. I have 2 QT that i have on hand just in case. So I’m going to take a 10 gallon tank and fully cycle it. Currently in her tank there is several handfuls of snails one purple fire fish and one large piece of coral.

I guess my question is how do I prevent dinos from transferring over to this new tank? Are the snails even worth transferring over as they to are somewhat covered in some kind of algae. The coral at the base has brown algae also growing on it. Is there any kind of dip I could use to clean them? I really would like to try to save what I can but I’ll be honest im a bit tired of this little tank. Lol :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To clarify this is just to hold the fish until I can restart her Fluval again.
