Well, it has been a long day but I feel like i got alot done. I went on my road trip went to 2 reef stores and home depot. I got all my plumbing parts except for 2. The gate valve they didn't have and i miscounted 1 fitting. Not to bad. When i got home, I cleaned the sump, tank and rock. And started reworking the stand for the 40 gal in place of the 29 gallon. A friend built it for me years ago. The sides and top won't work. But the bottom will. I am very tired. But I saw some really great fish today and the excitement builds.

How far down to you think your hole is from the top I'm thinking mine may be to far up for the eclipse. I'll be sure to measure before I head to the store.

I think the hole in your tank is way to high for the eclipse overflow.

It is. Ive had to redo my plan. May not be perfect, but the man at the lfs said it is doable.

Am I looking at that picture wrong or does the tank sit quite a bit down into the stand?

Your right. I took that front panel off and replaced it with a curtain.

Update: received my led lights thursday. I hung in the top of the canopy. I put them to far back so im gonna have to move them forward. Got my ATO yesterday installed it, its working fine. I noticed my skimmer is working better. Must be getting over the break in period. Lets see what else...i have some loc line and a hob refugium coming tues. My parameters still seem strange not really what I was expecting. I haven't had any nitrites but my nitrates are off the chart. My ammonia is at .50 so i know they have food. And if nitrates feed off of nitrites and mine are at 0, whar are my nitrates so high. Im still thinking about my aquascape,
