Hi all, I have had a 65 gallon tank running and it just went to hell in a hand basket very quickly. The day the tank finished cycling the light fell into the tank and killed my couple of fish I had just added. After that I kinda just gave up on the 65 (since I have a very successful 10 Gallon) and just let all the water circulate never doing a water change for 1 year.
I am wanting to use some of the rock in the 65 for my new 20 gallon build. I'm wanting to start absolutely fresh so what is the best way to clean the live rock that is in the 65? Bleach? Sun? I'm open to all ideas. I just want to make sure there are no toxins left in the rock from the light falling in the tank.
