Resurgence of LFS

If LFS want to have a resurgence..... I say all the LFSs in major cities collaborate together to offer walking customers the ability to drop off water samples and get ICP test results emailed by regional ICP test centers.

Results need to be inexpensive so you can afford monthly ICP tests and results are quick....

It should be as easy as you taking your car battery into autozone and getting it tested....if that's even feasible to collaborating LFSs

Who's paying for it? I've been in plenty of LFS that used to offer free water testing. The same five guys/gals come in every other week for testing, get the results and leave and don't spend a dime.

Sounds like you just want cheaper testing for ICP results. Buy in bulk, it gets cheaper that way.
