Hello and thank you in advance for any input!

I purchased a used RODI unit and confirmed with the owner that it sat unused for several months prior to sale.

I’m planning to replace all media but need some input on whether reusing the membranes (water saver double) would be safe. Flow is good and TDS readings are 0-1 ppm. Still, can harmful bacteria build up in the membrane just as easily as it can in the resin media? Harmful bacteria from stagnant tap is possible, right?

Thanks!

RO filtration is .001
Most bacteria is 0.2 to 2.0
Im sure they are fine.
Just flush them for 20 min

Thank you, Lapin. I'll do that. And as for changing the resin, carbon blocks and sediment filter, would you change those, despite the low TDS reading, as a matter of caution?
