Retired a pump lived a long life.

Pump has been in the tank since day 1. After the last power outage it didn't seem like it wanted to run. Has also been making a lot of noise. Id say 8 years was a good run.
Replaced with a DC pump bought on the forums here. Wow so much quieter.

8 years is long. Yes, sir the DC pumps are pretty quite.

I was amazed this little pump kept going but it just refused to die. Still runs but it doesn't restart well and I can hear it clicking when watching TV. Cleaning and save for a emergency though.
