retro fit frame

SO im planning on retro fitting 4 t5s to my 75g tank ;D just got back from home depot with the supplys to make the frame for it. i will try to post pics sometime soon. all the supplys are stainless steal and aluminum wish should be right correct? i thought id post so that others in my situation could use for a template :bigsmile: will get pics up soon

so pics are stll comming and im wondering about bulb combos im thinking 2 ati blue plus, 1 UV super actinic, and a fiji purple. im guessing the blue plus are actually blue, are the super actinic purple? and aren't the fiji purple kinda a reddish hue? thanks id love some quick response as im ordering Friday:]

I would stick to one metal or another as dis-similar metals will tend to corrode faster then the same metal.

I built mine at home depot and didn't even use it lol I used Alum. with alum rivits to attach it

i ended up using aluminum barring and stainless steal l brackets and self tapping screw, it turned out very nicely. i also drilled some holes so i can thread the wiring through the aluminum. worked very well. im at the final stages of wireing the ballast now, i have a few old bulbs im using to test them with so far so good :wink: at this point im interested in my bulb combo as im nearly done with construction
