Retrofitting morning lights and supplementing flow

Have my EVO 13.5 up and running now. Have some test pieces in there and they're doing well, but definitely not as nice as they were in my DT. Considering everything is the same except the light and flow, Im blaming it on that. Anyone have any suggestions for replacing the factory lighting? I'd like to keep the cover(keeps the cats out) so retrofitting with some actinic lighting would be great if its possible. And for flow, and super tiny pumps that anyone likes? As always, appreciate all the insight.
