Hello all i was wondering if my overflow was about an inch higher then my return if that would cause a problem. I personally wouldnt think it would but wanted to ask here. Thanks in advance.

Not a problem, although you should figure in a siphon break to avoid sump overflow in power outage.

Good morning. I wanted to clarify. Is the return below the water line? If so need to be carefull about back flow if your power goes it. It will drain all that water back thru the return until the siphon is broken.

It will be by about an inch however i have the adjustable plastic pieces which allow me the raise the night in which the water returns. I can take a pic to show

Sounds like it should be ok. I run my lock line returns just below the surface . I actually have the end of it slanted so a small corner of the return is just above the water level. Once the water starts going down it is not much before that corner starts to suck in air and break the siphon.

Also, keep in mind you have enough room in the sump should po2er go out.

I think that looks good.test it by shutting off the pumps and watch how much water drain into sump. Keep a close eye to ensure it does not overflow

Hard to see in pix, but same as back siphon. you want to be sure th tank has enough room for water from the sump in case of a drain blockage.

Idea is not too have more water drain then sump can hold and no more water in sump than tank can hold in case of blocked drain.
