Return from sump question.

I am redoing the return line from my sump. I have a 55gal tank and a pump that is rated at 550 gph.


What kind of return would be better?
A spray bar across the back of the tank or having the line split so that it comes in from both sides of the tank.

Impersonally don't like spray bars. I like two open returns for flow. Then add your powerhead for additional flow
