Hi everyone!

I'm new at "reefing" and i just got me a 150 gallon tank. I'm starting on planning my skimmer placement, refugium and lastly my return compartment. I am going to use a Fiji cube 1600 gph and for a return pump eFlux LOOP DC Flow Return Pump 1900 GPH. My question is if anybody can help me figure out how high or low the return line hole in the tank should be? I mean in comparison of the inlet to the Fiji cube.

I'm thinking maybe one inch below the waterline? What do you think? Or should i skip this alltogether and have one of those hoses with a "Y" that hangs over the rim?

Thank you for helping!

Edit: i own an Akvastabil Fusion 576 liters: https://www.akvastabil.dk/en/fusion/aquariums

I am guessing this is glass aquarium. If so, before you decide location, check that rear panel is not tempered glass. If it is, it cannot be drilled.
