setting up a 10 gallon sump for my 34 gallon reef. just bought the small Eshopps overflow box (600 GPH) and my return pump is a Jebao DC-3000. What size return should I setup? 3/4 or 1 inch? Thanks

With your pump running at 100% for example a 1” line will give you lower pressure, a 3/4 will give higher pressure w similar flowrate... almost like when u put your finger over a garden hose... if you can adjust the flow rate of the pump to compensate for the increased pressure, i would agree with fishface and use 3/4 bc you probably dont need to max out the pumps flow rate to obtain the results...but if you cant adjust flow rate on pump and stuff starts to blow all over you can use the 1” to lower the pressure... i know this is a smaller setup, and im not familiar w the jaebo, so try the 3/4. Yada yada yada... sorry so long
