Return lines on 110g tall

Not sure how many return lines I should have in this tall setup. Had someone say depends on the flow your looking for. Not sure I know what flow I'm looking for. Would I want 4 due to the tall tank? I really have no clue. Thanks.

Not 100% sure what you mean....if I'm on the right track, one return line is all you "need". Something that will carry anywhere between 220 and 440 GPH of flow....so nothing fancy should be required.

How many powerheads in the tank and where to place them? Maybe that's the next question?

Guess I'm talk my about the return from the sump. I thought I seen many with 2 going into main tank. If not more. Then I had someone mention depends on the flow I need. I. Not sure what would determine how much flow I need. I was thinking since it's a tall tank maybe I would need 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. But I really don't know as the reef tank is all new to me.

Yep....then one is all you need. Be as creative with it, or plain-jain with it, as you want though.

I have a 150 tall with one drain pipe and one return that splits into two emptying into display

One or two return lines are fine. You dont want to have any on the bottom, though the will drain the tank when the pumps are off.

My spraybars usually run vertical to the bottom....you just need a siphon-break at/below the water line.
