Could you guys share some pictures of your return plumbing, and manifold?

I am in the process of setting up 300 gallon tank, with return on each side of the tank.

I have an Abyzz 200 pump, I planned to go up from the sump and then split to each side of the tank with a T, is this the best option?

Also wanted to know can I run my manifold off the same pump, or do I need to put the manifold on it own pump? The manifold will be running three reactors, along with Pentair Aquatics 80 watt UV, I already have a second pump COR-20, but I would rather just use one if that would work, or not a good idea to use primary on manifold

Consider coming off the pump with a "T" for the manifold, then a "Y" to split off to each of the returns to the DT. The "Y" will reduce head pressure loss vs a "T".

Off the "T" for the manifold, include ball/gate valves to control the flow to each individual line.

OK, so right off the pump with a T for the manifold, then split. Need to find where I get a Y. So do you think that one pump is OK?

Thanks

Just elevate the single line to a desired height before the manifold "T". Sometimes you can find the "Y" at plumbing/hardware stores, otherwise online such as this one https://pvcpipesupplies.com/3-4-sch...m_term=1101500684445&utm_content=All Products

The single pump should be fine so long as you've calculated the head pressure and you'll be able to get the desired flow rate. Judging by the manuf stated 4400gph, you'll have plenty to spare.

I would use one of the following: Sweep Tee Wye or 120 degree True Wye purchased here:

Do NOT reduce the size of the pump output, increase it if you can.
Don't forget some unions in case you need to address a problem.
Use something like a Clic Clamp to secure the plumbing.
