Return pump extremely loud

Hey all, I use a reeflo hammerhead gold to return water from my downstairs dump back upstairs.

Been running well for 2 years now, recently it's gotten insanely loud and I'd like to fix what the issue is.

2 other things I noticed; some salt creep has developed around the intake area and the pump is running hotter then normal.

What can i do to return it to normal? Does it need to be brought into a shop?

I don't have experience with Reeflo pumps personally, but I know that they have a seal that needs to be replaced periodically. I don't know if that would explain the noise and heat, but it's quite possibly the cause of the salt creep.
