Return pump for 120

I use a Jebao DCT-6000 on my 125 gallon tank with dual overflows.

And welcome to R2R!

I used a Sicce 5.0 on a 120 with dual returns, no problem.

How do we know how much power is required for 120 gallon?
Well, I can't speak to other pumps, but the DCT-6000 is rated for a maximum of 6000 L per hour (about 1575 gallons per hour). Each overflow in my tank is rated for about 600 gallons per hour. I run my pump at 60% output. I could run it a little higher, but if the return weir or drain guards get plugged for some reason, I can overflow the tank in a hurry (don't ask how I know this :( ).

Any difference between the Jebao DCT and DCP? is it just name or there is some difference??

For a return pump anywhere in the 4x to 6x the tank volume after head loss, is generally accepted as normal.
For ac pumps I like Sicce, Tunze and Fluval. They are all fairly quiet and dependable pumps
If you want super quiet and dependable checkout the Vectra M2.

I have a mag 7 running mine (same size tank as yours) - went with the economical approach. Dual returns. You can hear the hum but its nothing that disturbs the room.

Mag pumps are work horse pumps. Nothing wrong with them. They start out reasonably quiet, but after time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
