Return pump for 40 breeder?

I have a 20 long sump and the eshopps eclipse m overflow box . I was looking at the Jebao 3500 dcp return pump but not sure if it’s overkill?

If there is room for it in your return chamber I think it'll be fine. Since it's controllable you can always turn it down. I'm going with the DCP-2500 for my 25G cube with about 4ft of head.
