return pump for IM 20 Peninsula

Just bought IM 20 Gallon NUVO Fusion Peninsula. The stock return pump (211 GPH) is very noisy, any recommendation for replacement pump with quiet operation? Is Sicce same as Tunze? Thanks!

Sicce is not the same as Tunze. Tunze is a German brand and Sicce is Italian FYI.

I have read that some are using the Sicce 1.5 with the "y" connector and it puts out enough flow. Sicce are supposed to be dead silent too.

Any sicce pump smaller than syncra 2.0 is pretty quiet.

You issue will be fitting a pump into the space that is in the return chamber.

I run a 1.5 Sicce on my IM 20 and it is dead silent. does an awesome job

I used a jebao DC pump in my fusion 30 and it was great

The rear chamber on the IM Fusion Peninsula is the same as on the Fusion 10 & Fusion Peninsula 14. I replaced mine with an EHEIM Compact 1000. It is a lot quieter and I had to turn the flow down a bit because it was draining the third chamber. I am installing an Apex controller now so I am looking into the Jebao DC returns so I can fine tune flow. Might put my EHEIM up for sale when I do. For now I use the stock pump to mix water.
