Wondering what return pump is best for the Red Sea Reefer 250. The Red Sea website recommends 660 gph. Which pump works best for this system? e.g. what works in the Reefer 250's water level in the return area of the sump and still provides the recommended GPH?

Any of the Reef Octo VarioS 2 - 6 pumps fit and work great. I had a VarioS 2 and then swapped to a Jaebo DCT-8000. Both work great but I think I like the Jaebo better as it has a lot more power.

Definitely following! I am think about get the reefer 250 and if I did I want to put a manifold of the return pump to run 2 reactors. Hopefully someone can give some suggestions on what return pump they are running on a reefer 250.

Wondering which pump you end up getting ?
Haven't gotten the tank yet, I forgot about this thread. In fact I probably am not getting a Red Sea tank anymore.

This thread could still be useful for others to find info for their own tanks though so I don't mind if I continue to get replies on this thread
