Return Pump GPH

I am looking at purchasing a return pump for my first sump setup. My tank is a 40 gallon breeder. What kind of GPH should I be looking at? 20 gallon sump

check out the Jebao DC pumps, quiet and you can adjust the flow to your needs. i love mine

I have an eheim 1262 for my 40 breeder, my sump is a 10. I have 4 feet of head loss so to compensate for flow I put an eductor on the return, at least doubled if not tripled my flow.

What are you running for an overflow? That will play into the pump you need. As well as the head loss.
