Return Pump Help

I am looking to upgrade my dying Blueline Velocity T1 return pump. It is an external pump, and I'd probably need to stay that way since my sump is not the biggest (flat back hex tank limits the sump area).

The T1 was [FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]rated at 590 GPH pump with a 3/4" MPT inlet and 3/4" MPT outlet.[/FONT]

My system is an 85 gallon mixed reef with about a 10 gallon sump.

All the jebao pumps are controllable so you can adjust the flow. I would find the one that flows more than your blue line did and just tone it down with the pump controller if needed.

Jebao dc adjustable pumps are nice I'm thinking the dc6000 but don't get discouraged its adjustable and with friction loss and head loss you should be good. That last pump you had wasn't enough for a 85 gallon. I would shoot for at least 850 gph after friction loss and head. I have a reeflo external pump and highly recommend them but the jebao dc pumps are reasonably priced

I ordered the dc-9000.

I'm not sure how that wasn't enough flow before through, I have a very successful mixed reef with a bunch of high dollar SPS and collector favia that grows like weeds. I do have two tunze 6095's, maybe those made up for the return pump.
