I am limited on the amount of room I have to install my return pump onto my stock tank. My question is can I use a 90 coming out of the sump then going into the pump. All of the plumbing is 1.5"

The pump is a reeflo barracuda and will be throttled back as well. I am hoping with it being throttled back it will help prevent it from cavitating.

Thanks in advance.

if you throttle it back to much it will cavitate .. how many gallons are we talking about here ..

Why would it cavitate from throttling back? Never heard of that before. Is a reeflo barracuda which his 4500gph. Will be pumping up 8ft originally then a 90 and a ten ft run to another 90 to about a 8ft run and then another 90 and up another 4ft or so.
