So yesterday i found out that my old return pump is creating stray electricity in my aquarium which has resulted in mysterious fish deaths so im getting a new return pump. What's your thoughts of a vectra s2 pump because i have all ecotech equipment besides the return pump, and lighting which will happen in the future with the lighting but i wanted to know about the return is it as nice as the mp 40's

Time to replace
As you know salt and electricity together don’t play nice
I recommend Sicce which has been very good to me

I have had a sicce return pump on past aquariums before and i do enjoy how well they work but was wondering how well a vectra s2 will work i do like programmability and i wanted to also tie everything together with ecotech because i know thier equipment is built really well and am going to have thier lighting and i have thier wave makers.

The vectras are excellent choice for return pumps. I have one on my frag tank and an L2 on my display. Very quite, low maintenance no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to get it.

Vectras are great pumps.
I've been using them for 7-8 years. The only issue I ever had was with the early L1's and that issue was corrected a few years back.

Vectors 2 has had field issues
Look at Octo series with same controllability
