Return Pump Recomendation

Hello again! I was getting my used 45 gal tank setup and noticed the pump was quite loud. Its a Sicce syncra 1.0. I took out the mag and cleaned it out and its still a bit loud. Would there be a recommendation the group has for a replacement for this? I was just going to keep the Sicce as a backup since i didn't have one. I am honestly not sure if its just that loud normally. I can hear the buzz while having it on the stilt suction cups with nothing touching the pump to exacerbate the vibration sound.

Tank is a 45.2 Waterbox frag. It has 2 return nozzles fed from the pump.

If you want a dc controllable pump the vectra or varios are suppose to be good. I have a Sicce syncra 4.0 which has been quite for me.

I have the above mentioned Varios. Mine is super quiet - would happily recommend.

I would also suggest that you consider the Reef Octopus Varios.

I personnly like the jebao dcp linenof pumps. I also like the reeflo, but they run a little louder IMO.

A various 2 will do 792gph, plenty for that size tank, and it can be adjusted down. I have one and run it at 60%. Nice and quiet

Hey everyone! I ended up going with the Reef Octo VariouS-2. It is super quiet, I cant even hear it.
