looking at new return pumps. Tank is rated at 1500 gph (glass-holes overflow kit). I got two returns and a head hight of 3-4'. what would y'all recommend?

Everyone going to the dc, low heat and less energy consumption. I have a jabeo 12000 but have yet to take the time to swap it out so im not sure how much less it would pull but all I have talked to say they are glad they went dc plus you don't have to worry about stray voltage

I love my jebao dc6000. Runs super silent. Soft start. And I can set the flow without a valve. Had it 6 months no issues. Max is 1585 gph. They have a 12000

I really like my Jebao DC pump although they seem to be hit or miss, both of mine run nice and quiet.

I just got a Waveline DC 6000 and it is really quiet. It has a controller to control flow and set it to feed mode. I can't even tell that it's running.

The DC pumps are great. I run two DC12000s on my setup (one for return, the other for reactors). They're virtually silent.

If you don't want to go the DC route, Eheims are the AC pump I'd use. They're quiet and reliable.
