I'm looking for recommendations on a return pump that pushes ~400-500 GPH for my 22 gallon nano reef tank. The return compartment on my sump measures 6"x7" and I have about 4' of head pressure. Any insight would be appreciated!

For a small tank like that, Sicce or nothing.

I almost pulled the trigger on this exact pump 5 minutes before I posted the question. I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track. Thanks for the added piece of mind.

They are amazing pumps and super easy to clean. Cant go wrong with them.

The Reef Octopus Varios 2, but they seem to be out of stock.

If this has enough head pressure, you may want to consider it.

Would this pump have enough power to run in a sump h Fer tank with a 4 foot head height?

The Sicce Syncra 2.0 is great, but the 1.5 might be fine too. I have the 1.5 on my 25G cube and it is plenty. I tried the 2.0 as well but didn't feel I needed that much. Size difference:

Jebao return pumps are great as well. I have one and it's silent and had great build quality. The dc series
I took a chance on one at first but found it couldn't maintain a steady flow rate. I could actually hear the change in pitch as the motor would turn faster or slower. Seller sent me a new controller with no improvement. I returned it and went with the Sicce 1.5. Jebao really seems to be a matter of luck - people who get a good one are very happy with them. I wasn't so lucky.

Very strange. I have a return and a sw wave maker. Very very happy with both.

I have a sicce needle wheel for my dinner and it is excellent as well. For a small talk I would get the sicce OP.

Like some other people have said, the Sicce pumps are really nice because they are strong AND very quiet compared to other pumps. Here's a review I put together on the Sicce Syncra Silent 4.0. For your tank, you would probably want to go with the smaller 2.0 or 3.0 pump. The 4.0 provides the perfect amount of flow in my 50 gallon cube.
