Looking for some opinions on a new return pump for my 180 mixed reef. I'm looking to replace my Mag12 which seems to be getting weaker by the day. In the process I'd also like to eliminate a couple reactor pumps with a manifold off of the new pump. I have dual 1" returns and dual 1" overflows, the overflows I would also like to step up the return out of the bulkhead to 1-1/4 or 1-1/2...I think 1-1/2 might be too big though. I have approximately 4' of head height in a straight shot, I'm not sure how to compensate for the dual returns or the manifold. I would like to stay with a submersible pump due to room and my fear of a flood..lol. That all being said any advice on a suitable replacement would be great. So far I'm really liking the Water Blaster line but unsure which one would work the best. Thanks!

I have an Eheim 1262 on my current 180 that is used as a return and also for my GFO and UV sterilizer. I really like it and they are built like a tank, also very quite. My new 300 gallon build I went with the Water Blaster 7000 just for a return because I wanted more flow. I have tested it out with with my plumbing and you can't hear it at all. Everything I read pointed me to the water blaster for its quietness and low power usage. It is hard to beat the Eheims though....
