Purchased a second hand Waterbox 30.2 gallon AIO aquarium from a lady who had issues with algae and was over it a few months in. She sent me with the equipment and part of her problem was their obviously wasn’t enough flow. *throughly soaked, took everything apart and cleaned before starting this tank* I already ordered a new wave maker and threw in an over sized one I had laying around for the mean time but I’m having a hard time deciding which return pump to get.
Tank currently has a sicce Syncra 0.5 and I’m seeing little flow. I’m torn between getting the 1.0 or the 1.5 to replace it. This will be a mixed reef tank if that makes a difference.
I currently have my aquacultered rocks in the tank curing so I’m looking to upgrade soon that way I can begin building.
There is about a 8-12 inch vinyl tube to get the water into the DT. After watching a BRS video I think a 1.0 will be fine but wanted to get others opinions first!
