I’ve had my tank running for months with a sump. Everything was running smoothly and then I came home today with the return chamber too low so I filled it up with water and it quickly went low again(pumping it up to the tank). I’m thinking maybe something is clogged from the overflow/plumping?

Sounds like that might be the case - is the water level rising in the DT?

Yup! Higher level than normal in the DT. Nearly to the rim which is scary. I think I’m going to do some cleaning of the pipes as it might be the pipes in the overflow box.

Definitely sounds like your drain lines are the problem ... somewhere between the weir/overflow in your tank and where it enters the sump.

Do you happen to have a single drain HOB overflow by any chance? With the clear Utube that runs over the top?
Yup with algae growing in it. I actually adjusted the weir and the pipes and it is now working correctly again. Thanks all
