Ive been running my 180g display and 40g sump with a mag18 since i started. It is currently plumbed with 1" PVC that T-s then goes into 2 1" bulkheads to locline to feed into the display. Ive recently upgraded to the new apex as well. What im looking for is recommendations on upgrading from the mag18. It seems there is quite a bit more efficient pumps out there that will essentially pay for themselves in energy savings in time. Does anyone have any? I see a lot out there that are variable and some others that can be used with the apex. Im all ears here, im a bit behind on how far these things have come since the danner mag pump i started this tank with.Thanks!
