Return pump tubing connection

Can I use on of these to connect my flexible tubing directly to my return pump?

I’m thinking no because of the metal right? If not what do I use? Return is not hard plumbed

They make plastic clamps or a cable tie can work. Not sure what size you need, but they come in a variety.

Or you can spend the money and get a titanium worm clamp. The one you have will rust

I strongly advice against it. This will rust and start adding harmful substances to your system.
