Hey I was just wondering if I need to turn off my return pump when dosing reef energy? I do have chemipure in my filter and I'm pretty sure it would remove it but not sure.
Thanks

Hrmm. I've never thought about that before. Have you noticed a difference at all using reef energy?
This is a hard question to answer as I've always used it (going on 2+ years), but there was a brief period of about a month a year or so back when I ran out when I didn't. I couldn't honestly say if I noticed a huge difference as I'm also supplementing with Absolute Aminos, Coral Nectar, Reef Roids and phytoplankton.

On my 200-gallon system I usually add about 12.5ml ReefEnergy AB+ daily. So not a huge amount, but it's consistent. Corals seem happy and healthy, but I also attribute that to regular testing, the other things I supplement, good lighting and flow and a good regiment for upkeep and maintenance. Will I keep using it? Yeah, probably. A 1000ml bottle lasts almost 3 months, so it's not a huge expenditure. And in the event I run out of another reef supplement I still have the ReefEnergy AB+ to fall back on.

If you mean difference in my corals, then yeah they have improved a lot while I've been dosing, especially my zoas and palys, they have exploded in growth and personally I think its really improved their color.
