Looking to get a Red Sea 350 or 450 shortly and i am wondering what return pumps you guys use or what you would recommend

I use an ecotech vectra m1. It’s quiet, controllable, and you can link it with the other ecotech products. It is a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

Hello,

I use the current usa eflux 3100 it’s about half the cost of the Ecotech, longer warranty, quieter, can link more than one, and linked with Bluetooth. Before I made my choice I tried both and the current was much better than the Ecotech, and others that I beta tested as well.

SP4 for more turnover or eheim 1262 for lower turnover. Proven pumps with units having operational lifespans longer than most of the common DC pumps have been on the market.

And absolutely get the biggest tank you can afford/fit

Great Recommendations so far. For a tank that size I have to recommend the Eheim 1262. Design hasn’t changed in decades. It is 100% silent (mine is anyway), and it is not unreasonable to expect 20 years of hiccup free life out of it. They really are some of the best built longest lasting pump available in the class. What they lack in bells and whistles they make up for in reliability. Not saying the others are unreliable, but eheim tops the list on mid level flow for submersible pumps on longevity.
