Return pump

I got good advices about skimmer from you guy which I really appreciated ,thanks again .I already order 100 IN Vertex now is another question about return pump.Which brands are reliable and long lasting?
I know that Eheim 1260 has good reviews. Which other brands are good?
My return from sump will be 4' high so I need something like 600-700GPH .
Any advice

Submersible or external. If your sump i drilled look for the reeflo blowholes. Just bought one myself. For submersible look at quiet one. Dependable and ... you guessed it, quiet

I tried the el-cheapos Catalina and they worked for about 8 months then fried. After a few of those I am now using a Marineland 4500 which is reliable, quiet, and provides lots of flow. I am happy with it personally.

Good old Sedra, cheap reliable and easy to get parts for, I just picked up a 1200 for my 134g build.

I rate Eheim and Ocean Runner equals. I may try a Water Blaster for my next pump though since they seem to be very efficient.

I've run a Tunze Silence for at least a year now with no issue.

hands down waterblaster
syncra are not real quiet and the impeller shaft costs way way too much. plus use too much power
i never tried a tunze, but from looks alone it looks like a sicce syncra.
