I'm looking to upgrade the return on my current build, previous tank was a RO DC-5500 Return Pump. It ran beautifull and still does, I just want a little more oomph.

It's a 300 gallon tank, I want something that'll stay quiet and run well for a while. I know the issue with some DC pumps is they give out after a year or so

I also prefer something that stays quiet.

I'm leaning towards the Vectra L2 but between that or the Reeflo Dart/Snapper Gold

It's hard finding Reviews about the L2, and i keep reading the Reeflo has issues with seals and they eventually get loud.

any ideas, inputs, or perspectives?

I really like my reef octopus varios 8. It has lasted 2yr and going strong with similar volume. The float switch that keeps the pump from running dry is a nice feature.

That's not one I considered, Thank you! I love the apex connectivity and the float switch idea.
