So looking between a vectra pump or the Neptune core pump. Look for some general feed back of what people like about each of them and what they don’t. Thanks in advance!

I have not used a cor pump, but have been using Vectras since they came out and have been very happy with them since.
I use them as a return pump so it's plumb it, set the speed and leave it alone. Nothing else needs to be done.

Do you use the mobel app and what do you think of it?

I'm partial to the Reef Octopus Varios pumps. Apex controllable thru the 0-10v port. Have them for return, skimmer, and reactor manifold pumps. Wasn't part of your original question but may be worth a look.

I was looking at the various as well, sense I want there skimmer.

Can't go wrong with Octo, I went COR because I was at the LFS and bought everything Neptune for my system. Previously was 250int skimmer and Vectra return, they are all really good.

I got the biggest jaebo money can buy and it runs flawlessly… I can’t see spending big money on a return pump but that’s just me.. it’s got it’s own dc controller and it’s set and forget.

I use them for return pumps. I used the controller they come with. Set it and leave it alone. Sometimes I have to adjust the flow, but I just use the Vectra controller. No need to do anything else.
The Mobius app IMO isn't the most user friendly ( unlike ESL). I use it for my lights only because it's the only way.

Between the two listed, I would pick the vectras. The option of being able to use a battery back up is a huge boon in my opinion plus ecotechs customer service is typically very good when needed compared to my experiences with neptunes.
