I have a 48x18x20 tank. It has a center rear overflow in the tank. The overflow is pretty small so I'm happy about it not taking up too much space. The weir came with a hole drilled in the front of it for a 3/4" bulkhead. My return is 3/4", so I plan on using 3/4" from the pump all the to that bulkhead in the weir. At that bulkhead, I plan on changing over to Loc Line via a wye fitting. My question is, where I'm going to split the return with a wye, should I downsize at that wye and go to 1/2" or leave it 3/4"? I'm only curious because I don't know how two 3/4" Loc Lines will look in the tank. I don't want them to be the over bearing center of attention.

No need to down size, they won't be the center of attention, they are black, and you can bend them so the are barely visible.
