Hi everyone,

I returned from my vacation this afternoon and noticed a few developments in my tank.

I have a 15 gallon cube with 2 clowns, 3 zoas, gsp, a toadstool and a cuc.

I have this bright red growth in a few places on my rockwork, and also some new small creatures skittering around the rocks as well. I managed to capture both in a single picture.

Are either of these a concern? If so, how to treat?

I don’t have an answer, but I know the more knowledgeable folks will ask for a photo under white light and your water parameters!

Red is hard to see, but possibly a sponge or coralline. The other is probably a amphipod.

Could be a Mysid shrimp also.

The lighting is pretty white already, but here’s a few pictures with the white turned up a bit more.

Just looks like your rocks maturing and going through the normal algae color phases. Brown, green, red and eventually purple corraline.
