Been out the hobby for some time and have things changed.

Started a 29g tank for my kids as they wanted "Nemo".

Right now the tank has been up almost a month now.

I have a penguin 200 and an Aquaclear 110 for filtration. Have 1 440gph and a 660gph powerheads. About 35-50lbs of dry rock. And an current USA marine orbit ic led.

Plan is to have mainly zoas and soft corals.

I know the general consensus is not to have aquarium decorations in the tank but the kids wanted it and they picked them out. If I see any adverse affects they will be the first items taken out.

Welcome to R2R!!! Welcome back to the hobby!!!

Thanks. I'm looking for a hob style protein skimmer here soon. One that will work for around a 100 gal or so. Have a specific area for the tank and the biggest I can go is about 100g cube in a 3ft area.

Welcome back and welcome to Reef 2 Reef :)
I am sure your kids are gonna love it, I keep just two medium big clowns and their anemone and I cannot get tired of looking at them!
Enjoy and keep us updated, we all love pictures ;)

Well tank has been up and running for awhile now. Have a bubble algae and bryopsis outbreak going on right now. Have emerald crabs for the bubble algae. Dosing Vibrant for the bryopsis and bubble algae.

Found a 90 gallon tank for free. Going to drill it and run a sump and connected grow out tank for frags. Turn my current tank into a coral QT tank. And look for another 40g breeder for a fish QT tank.
