My favorite tank is my office tank. Spending 8 hours a day near it means I'm always completely on point with everything, and notice any weirdness immediately.

Try and remember the stuff you knew back then - equipment is cheaper nowadays, but the industry has been almost completely captured by vendors/sponsors and most of the advice being given to newbies/regurgitated by newbies is just abysmal. The "Method" is 12 months of basically doing everything wrong so they can sell you every possible supplement, algaecide, and piece of equipment possible.

Good light, good flow, good export, and alkalinity management are the only things you need.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread for your office tank and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
