Returning to the Reefing

Hi Everyone,
My wife and I have taken the plunge back into the saltwater aquarium hobby. As of right now I have a 28 gallon nano cube set up with a few corals and fish. Things have changed alot since I have been away Yellow Tangs were $15 dollars when I left and LEDs were finally starting to be able to grow coral. Happy to be here.

Welcome! Good time to return! Great family hobby.

Right after the Hawaii ban on yellow tangs, prices jumped to $599 but now tiny biota cultured ones are $149-$199 if you keep looking around.

Those $15 days likely had a lot of available reference books, but those seem to be fading away (books in general). This is a great online article (like reference book):

Glad you joined. Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. Like you, I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state.
