If I use an 800 gph return pump and splitted of to 2 return nozzles would that be good for return flow

Returns from sumps are generally just that, returns. They shouldn't be used for flow, because you want them unrestricted, with the least amount of bends as possible. I'd use powerheads as flow in the tank, and not rely on the pump from the sump.

Well yes I will be using power head as well I just didn't know if there was an amount need for returns

There are two thoughts on the amount of flow you need for a return pump.
Some like I do, like to go with 3x to 5x the tank volume. So for your 72 gallon tank you could use a pump that gives you as little 216 gph to 360gph.
Create the flow in the tank with other pumps besides your return pump.

You can use as big a pump as you want. Your only limit is what the overflow will handle.
