Reuse equipment?????

Hello,

I am wondering if I wash a HOB filter and circulation pump that had ick on them would be safe to put in a brand new tank. If I wash them with hot water, will ick be transferred over into the new tank? Or should I get all new equipment (trying not to spend more money than needed). Please help!

Give everything you can a nice soak in vinegar water solution to make sure everything bad is dead. It will also have the benifit of dissolving any buildup that could hamper performance.
I do a 3/1 water to vinegar bath when I do my equipment. After a soak, wipe everything down, give it a good rinse, and your all set.
